I am in desperate need of some dental help. I have been to three different dentist in the past year, all of which say i need some major work done. One dentist quoted me as much as $20,000. I knew i had some problems but not to that extent. I was totally floored and brought to tears. My tooth on the top right has cracked and it just seems to be getting worse the longer i wait to find help. My jaw is in pain daily.
As a sophomore in college, we all know how difficult it is to try to pay for major dental work. Not to mention, finding an affordable dental plan that doesn't leave you having to pay a huge amount. The only other option i can think of is if there is a dentist in my area that would accept a low payment plan. Needless to say, that is hard to come by too.
I am currently working towards an AA degree and if all goes well i should graduate in the Spring of 2008. I find it difficult to smile and interact with people on a daily basis because of my teeth. Within the next few semesters, i have to take a speech class, where i will have to speak in front of the class and give a demonstration. I have been putting the class off because of my teeth.
I am really lost, i don't understand what has happened to my teeth. I brush and floss atleast three times a day. My teeth seemed ok up until about two years ago. I was diagnosed with arrhythmia. I haven't had a single drop of caffeine since. Since that diagnoses my heart palpitations have improved but my teeth are wrecked. Any suggestions or advice would be GREATLY appreciated.
